These are some homebrew D&D subclasses I've made for 5th edition through the years: a magical-girl themed warlock class and a Greek philosopher-themed monk class. Feel free to use them if you want, I'm not a cop.
Your patron is a magical being of incredible power that has chosen you for its champion. You have a task to carry out that will allow you to increase in power as it is completed, and someday you will ascend to your final destiny. You must defend love, justice, and most importantly, friendship.
Expanded Spell List
The Magical Girl patron lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. Eldritch Blast is now renamed Lovely Strike. All other spells and cantrips taken must be similarly renamed. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you:
Spell Level | Spells |
---|---|
1st | Healing Stars (Cure Wounds), Beautiful Defense (Shield) |
2nd | Harmony Aura (Calm Emotions), Comet Beam (Scorching Ray) |
3rd | Friendship Blessing (Revivify), Glittering Splash (Fireball) |
4th | Gentle Heart’s Chain (Dominate Beast), Aurora Rainbow Wall (Wall of Fire) |
5th | Cosmic Princess Remedy (Greater Restoration), Passionate Judgement (Flame Strike) |
Transformation Sequence
Starting at 1st level, you gain the ability to take your heart’s true form. As a bonus action, you may undergo a transformation sequence. This transformation lasts until the end of the battle or until you are knocked unconscious. Once you have used this ability the number of times shown for your warlock level on the warlock table (under "Uses Of TS") you cannot regain its use until you have completed a long rest. In addition to a new outfit, the transformation sequence grants the following benefits:
Pact Boon
Magical Girls can take the Pact of the Heart at 3rd level. With your action, you can turn your arcane focus into a ranged or melee weapon of your choice. You are proficient with this weapon while you wield it. The weapon counts as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. In addition, this weapon is imbued with Sparkling Love, a pool of healing power that can restore a total number of hit points equal to your warlock level x5. As an action, you can touch a creature and draw power from this pool to restore a number of hit points up to the maximum amount remaining in your pool. The pool replenishes after you have completed a long rest. The creature must be touched by the weapon, and in order to heal a creature that is out of reach, you must succeed in a DC12 ranged spell attack while your focus must be transformed into a ranged weapon.
Lucky Chance
Starting at 6th level, you can tip the scales of fate for the sake of another. If a creature you can see or hear makes an ability check or saving throw, you can use this feature to add or subtract a d8 to or from that roll. You can do so after seeing the roll but before its effects occur. Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest. You cannot use it on yourself.
Heart’s Mirror
Beginning at 10th level, your heart is strong enough to reflect attacks back at your enemies. You are now immune to being charmed and frightened. When an enemy attempts to charm or frighten you, you can use your reaction to attempt to reflect it back on that creature. They must succeed in a Wisdom saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC or become charmed by/frightened of you for one minute or until they take damage. Once you have used this reflection, you cannot use it again until after you’ve completed a short or long rest.
Can’t Give Up Now
Starting at 14th level, the power of friendship allows you to resist death itself. When you have to make a death saving throw at the start of your turn, you can instead spring back to your feet with a burst of determination. You regain hit points equal to half your hit point maximum, and you may stand up without taking movement as long as you wipe a small streak of blood from the corner of your mouth and say something about friendship and never giving up. Each creature of your choice that can see or hear you gains temporary hit points equal to your warlock level plus your Charisma modifier. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you take a long rest.

I made a satyr character for a Greek-mtyhology-themed D&D campaign and I wanted to spice up her classes a little bit to get her the themes I wanted for her. The monk path is just a reskinned Way Of The Kensei and the bard path is just a reworking of the College Of Eloquence, so it's considerably less involved than the Magical Girl subclass, but I wanted to have it written down somewhere.
Monks who take the Path of the Goaherd gain proficiency in two weapons of their choice, one melee and one ranged. They can be any simple or martial weapon that isn't heavy or special. These weapons are considered monk weapons.
Hit dice is 1d8 per bard level, first level HP is 8+CON modifier.
