Like a lot of people on the Internet, I've been drawing for my entire life. The first place that I actually posted this art was on Deviantart, and while that site is a complete trash fire nowadays, I still regret deleting that account. I'd love to have those old OC drawings from 2009! Drawing OCs has been the primary motivator for my artistic progress. The first characters I drew reference sheets for were self-insert superhero/villain characters. The first character I drew consistently was Chameleon, in her forum rp era, and those are the drawings I lost the most of when I deleted my Deviantart.

Ever since then, the number one reason I've ever gotten better at drawing at anything has been because I want to show everyone the guys I made. This means that unfortunately I am dog shitt at things like backgrounds and landscapes. But considering I'm 100% self-taught, I think I've been doing pretty good at learning the things I want to learn! It's not like anyone's paying me, I might as well draw 100 more fullbody outfit references floating in a void. Honestly, that's a good chunk of why I made this website in the first place. I want to have a repository of all my OCs and all their art that's mine and mine alone!

The oldest art I still have access to (at least until I go through my folders of old physical art) is at my old blog. I think the oldest stuff on there is from 2012. That's a 2012 self-portrait to the left there. After I quit using that blog, I posted on this less old blog for a little while. Right now I'm posting my stuff (sporadically) on my current blog.

My current medium of choice is either digital art or pencil and paper. I spent a while in college trying to do more with inks (mostly just for Inktober and for my D&D campaign) which was also fun. The art program I spent the most time with was FireAlpaca. I still heartily recommend it! It was a great way to get used to digital art as a high schooler armed with nothing but a Wacom Bamboo tablet. That's some of the fruits of my 2013 labors with early FireAlpaca on the right, and a portrait of Enna from 2016 underneath here. As you can see, I improved a lot through those years!

Then I spent a while without a personal computer, and my darling roommate Em was nice enough to give me their iPad, so I got into IbisPaint. Since I refuse to get an Apple Pencil, I did art without any pen pressure for several years, but I still made some stuff I'm really proud of. Nowadays I use a Huion Inspiroy 2S and I shelled out for Clip Studio Paint. I don't draw as much as I wish I did, but that's the problem with having a job and chronic pain and probably an RSI. So it goes! Most of the things I draw are either furries or Starbrite. There's no motivator like a fandom of exactly twenty people!

To close us out, here's a drawing I did in 2024 of my sona smoking weed.
